Assessment

A psychological assessment is an in-depth process involving several hours of interview and testing, as well as the integration of information into a written report. This type of assessment is different from an intake assessment done for the purpose of psychological therapy. As such, this type of evaluation is usually conducted in response to specific questions regarding the mental health or neuropsychological functioning of an individual.  However, psychologists are also able to provide an expert opinion when there is no specific psychological disorder (e.g., custody or parenting evaluation).

Our approach to assessment relies on state-of-the-art interview and testing techniques to ensure that our conclusions and recommendations provide an accurate reflection of an individual’s mental health, neurocognitive limitations, and overall psychological functioning.

Please see the specific assessment sections to determine whether you or someone you know requires an assessment.
